Important Reminder: Bathing Your Baby or Toddler
When your baby or toddler is playing happily in the bath, it’s easy to get distracted and think you can turn your back on them for a second or even pop out to grab a towel. However, the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) are reminding parent/carers that drowning happens quickly and quietly. And, if your child goes under the water you won’t hear it. So, stay with them all the time they’re in the bath and keep them in arm’s reach.
Visit CAPT’S new safe baby bath time page to find our more about the risks associated with bath time and simple things you can do to keep babies and toddlers safe, even at busy bath times.
