Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving an e-bike in Wakefield.
It happened at about 6.20am today (Wednesday) on Canal Lane, Outwood.
A 35-year-old man was riding a Jansno X70 electrically-assisted pedal cycle past Outwood Primary Academy School, when he fell from the bike.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are being treated as life-threatening.
Enquiries suggest no other vehicles were involved in this incident.
Witnesss areasked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
The log reference is 175 of April 15.
