Hundreds of people will come together under the night sky on Saturday October 3rd, as the Wakefield Hospice Night Run returns for the first time since 2019

Taking place on Saturday, October 3, runners will set off at 7pm on Neil Fox Way, next to Wakefield Hospice, to take on the 5K route under the night sky.
Whether you’re a regular runner, looking for a new challenge or simply want to do something fun with friends and family, everyone is welcome to run, jog or walk their way around the course.
Alexander Cunniff, Events and Community Manager, said: “We are so excited to announce the return of our beloved Night Run this October!
“The evening will be all about participation, fundraising and coming together as a community to support local hospice care.
“To make the evening even more memorable, every finisher will receive a branded Wakefield Night Run t-shirt, as well as professional finisher photographs to capture the moment.”
The Night Run will follow an out-and-back route, along Neil Fox Way. and with a minimum entry age of 11, the Night Run is the perfect opportunity to get your family and friends together and support Wakefield Hospice.
Alex added: “We ask all participants to set a minimum fundraising target of £50. Your entry fee helps to cover the cost of hosting the event, whilst your fundraising is what keeps the lights on for local hospice care.”
