Printing using gelatine plates is a fun, colourful and instant way to create monoprints and ideal to continue at home without needing a press! You’ll come away with a series of layered monoprints using the gelatine plate and various techniques.

Your Tutor
Bobshaped is an artist and facilitator based in West Yorkshire. Before making work as a printmaker she studied engineering and metalwork and jewellery. After using tools for many years ‘drawing’ with lino cutters was a natural progression into print. This lead to an interest in other types of print, she is currently enjoying screen printing and letterpress.
Pattern, repeats, layers, colours, nature, technology, craft, packaging, architecture and process are some of the things that inform her work. Sometimes there is a bit of humour thrown in for good measure.
