The WSCP recorded training “Working Together to Safeguard Children Basic Awareness” by Karron Zelei has been updated. This is an introductory course covering basic safeguarding. It gives participants information about the principles for working with children, young people and families. Please discard all previous versions of this training and access the most up to date recording here
WSCP advises all practioners who work or volunteer with children and families to undertake this training as part of their induction. Please disseminate to your new starters and share across your networks.
This training should also be undertaken as a pre-requisite to participating on the face-to-face Working Together Shared Responsibility Training
